A WOMAN who used B&Q scraps to transform her Fiat 500 into a micro camper has revealed how a £24 Smyths toy shop essential made it really cosy.

Travel and lifestyle content creator Wholesome Em took to TikTok to share her incredible revamp.

The content creator revealed how she transformed her car

She covered her windows with thermal pieces

She then used scraps of wood to create a mattress

Th DIY whizz explained to her followers how she transformed her tiny car into a comfy mini camper.

In the video she grabbed pieces of thermal covers to use them as private screens on the car windows.

She said: “I just slide them into the gaps between the window and the car, some places it’s really tight which keeps it in place.”

She then explained how she used wood blocks to create an improvised mattress inside the vehicle.

The TikToker explained: “I also cut out some blocks to support the board where my mattress went on.

“The boards were scraps from the left overs trolley in B&Q, from what I remember.

“I think they were laminate flooring supported by blocks cuts.”

In another video, the savvy car owner used regular cot mattresses as a comfortable bed inside her tiny car.

Drivers can snap up a similar one at Smyths selling for less than £25 manufactured for kids.

“The are on to the boards I used for storage, then I added cover mattresses into it and the bedding.

“I also had some lights for when it got dark to be able to see.

Once settle, she showed off the beautiful view from her the back window seats of a countryside greenery.

The videos have now amassed hundreds of likes and thousands from fellow money-saving motorists.

It comes as another man with a van can quickly turn his work vehicle into a campervan and get out exploring the world sooner.

Meanwhile, one man has taken camping to the next level by building a homemade mini campervan that he can cook in.

Camper and YouTuber, Jason, or Quiet Nerd, has revealed his homemade mini camper which even has an electric blanket.

The camper is made of motorised planks of wood covered by a yellow tarpaulin and clear plastic across the front.
