I tried Costa’s Christmas menu… I loved it but I came across a major flaw & the toasties should be more crispy

A WOMAN who tried Costa’s Christmas menu said she loved it but came across one flaw.

Posting under the username Georgia on TikTok, she reviewed the entire festive set for her eager followers.

The popular coffeehouse chain often changes up its menu on special occasions and this time the additions are all of a festive theme.

It is particularly known for its seasonal drinks menu, and is behind fan favourites like the black forest hot chocolate.

Georgia talked her followers through the entire Christmas set as she tried each item one by one.

The TikToker had a look at a fan favourite in the form of the Terry’s Chocolate Orange hot chocolate.

It comes complete with a segment of Terry’s Chocolate Orange on the side.

She said: “Oh my god that is absolutely unreal.

“So Christmassy and nice, I love this.”

Georgia said that she would give the hot drink a nine out of 10 but said there was one small drawback.

She said the chocolate was placed on top of the coffee cup meaning it melted.

However, the reviewer still happily tucked into the “yummy” treat.

Georgia added that the same problem happened after trying the After Eight hot chocolate.

But she said that she liked it more than the Terry’s Chocolate Orange and gave it a 10 out of 10.

She also tucked into a number of paninis and toasties with festive sauces and toppings.

This included a cranberry, maple syrup, bacon and brie panini as well as a turkey and trimmings toastie.

Georgia said that the cranberry sauce was a huge hit with many of the menu items and said that one of the toasties could have be more crispy.

As always, TikTokers were quick to take to the comments section to weigh in with their opinions.

“I always put the chocolate in the drink,” said one.

And Georgia replied that it was a “good idea” that she didn’t think of.

Another wrote: “Terrys hot choc is elite.”

“Yessss try the Black Forest hot chocolate. Let us know if it’s better than the mint,” commented a third.

The Sun have contacted Costa for comment.

It comes as shoppers went wild for a £1.50 Christmas dinner returning to Iceland after a four-year break.

The meal has all the festive trimmings – turkey, sage and onion stuffing, smoked bacon, Brussels sprouts, sweetened dried cranberries and a pig in a blanket.
