A WOMAN who rented an electric car for her holidays missed her flight and says that EVs are the worst.
Alex was fuming after discovering that the EV she rented was not able to hook up at certain public charging points – meaning she had to get a tow truck to rescue her car.

TikTok user @alexinsummer uploaded a video on social media warning people about renting electric cars when they are on holiday.
She said: “If you’re thinking about renting an electric car don’t do it, oh Alex you should probably manage your mileage better.
“I’m literally at a charging station, but apparently I’m not authorised to charge, oh and I should have been at the airport an hour and a half ago to catch my flight.
“This is the dumbest way to miss a flight, I’m now sitting here waiting for the tow truck to pick me up to take me to another goddamn charging station – which I also have to pay.
“On top of that, I will have to pay for the new flight that I’m going to have to book and either sleep in the airport or get a room for the night.
“I’m tired, I’m physically exhausted and I just wanna go home, I have to find the number for the airline to contact them.
“I’m just actively having a very bad time, so electric cars literally s**k.”
The video has gone viral on social media with thousands of views and viewers were quick to comment below.
