Adam uploaded the video to TikTok and revealed that he bought the car on Facebook Marketplace.

He explained: “I found this cheap Megan on Facebook Marketplace. I went to view it, and after a few negotiations, we agreed on £500.

“The car was in a messy state. It needed a good wash and a tidy-up.

“A dent on the boot which I managed to pop out.

“I put on a new set of wheel trims that really transforms the car for only £12.

“I took all the rubbish out of the car and took it to the cleaners.”

After taking the car to the car wash, Adam put the advert on Facebook Marketplace.

And the poster managed to sell the Renault Megane for £850 within a day.

People were quick to comment after watching the video.

One said: “Could’ve got more money out of it.”

The poster replied: “Sometimes with cars that aren’t clean and unsure about it’s best to snatch a quick profit so you don’t risk getting stuck with them, but yeah, I agree.”

Another commented: “I would have re-listed it with a fresh mot for £1,600.”

This comes after a driver who purchased a Nissan 240SX on Facebook Marketplace was shocked at the car’s actual condition when he took a closer look.
