I love wearing women’s underwear but I’m worried about telling wife

DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN I tried on a pair of women’s knickers I was shocked by how unbelievably comfortable they were.

Now I want to wear them regularly, but I don’t know how to tell my wife.

I’m 47, she’s 43 and we’ve been married for 15 years.

While I had never had any interest in wearing women’s underwear before, one day I felt a sudden urge when I saw my wife’s knickers in a pile of clean washing.

Initially, I felt like I was doing something wrong, but as I pulled them on I quickly noticed how soft and supportive they were.

Ever since I’ve hated wearing men’s boxers, and I can’t stop thinking about buying some knickers.

I know I need to tell my wife, but I’m worried she will be disgusted with me.

What if she can’t accept it?

DEIDRE SAYS: It is not uncommon for men to find women’s underwear more comfortable.

But secrets can eat into relationships, and while there is no guarantee that your wife will accept it, you must be honest with her.

The Beaumont Society can support you both (beaumontsociety.org.uk, 01582 412 220).
