Helped by pal Dylan Gamble, the two 18-year-olds used reversed L-plates to recreate the bakery’s four orange squares logo and magnetic letters to spell out Greggs and The Sausage Roller on the blue Suzuki Wagon R.
Joe, who only passed his driving test two months ago, has been cruising around Braunstone near Leicester.
The college student said: “We got so many great reactions, it was fantastic.
“It blew up massively.
“I wasn’t expecting this at all and I love it.”
Joe pops into Greggs at least twice a week and is partial to their sausage rolls but his go-to order is a sausage, bean and cheese melt.
He said: “It’s Greggs ’til I die.
“It’s a classic and there is nothing better.”
Pictures of Joe’s Sausage Roller car on Twitter were spotted by Greggs, which commented: “Love it Joe.
“Although, no sudden hand-bake turns please.”
A spokesman said: “We love to see the efforts our customers make to show their love.
“We hope to see the Sausage Roller rolling through one of our drive-thrus soon.”
