I was sent home from work for my outfit – people say I showed too much skin

The video begins with the content creator standing close in front of the camera and backing away as she pretends to scribble in a notebook.

She has her hair pulled back in a slicked-back braided ponytail and shows off the ensemble that was deemed inappropriate for the workplace.

Jurado wears a black T-shirt with white graphic details and army-green short shorts.

She has black tights on under the shorts, nestling them into white socks and black combat boots, and completes the style with a purple bolero over top.

The subtitle over the visual reads: “Work sent me home 4 making the uniform cooler.”

Apparently, authority figures at the dining establishment were not fans of her unique taste, although the outfit was not outright NSFW.

In the caption, Jurado described the experience as “a feeling too familiar!!!!!” and reminded her of being dress-coded in high school.

Some viewers found nothing wrong with her outfit and said she gave off “icon behavior” in the comments.

“Queen,” one viewer wrote.

“Haters asf,” another added.
