American country singer Kacey Musgraves appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on the weekend, which was hosted by Sydney Sweeney.
And despite putting on a flawless performance – there was a minor hiccup in the wardrobe department for Musgraves.
While it was barely noticeable, Musgraves pointed out the fashion faux pas on her official X account.

The Deeper Well singer appeared on stage at the end of the show alongside Sweeney and Glen Powell when she pointed out that she had a hair clip in her fringe – that wasn’t meant to be there.
“The clip. I forgot to remove the clip,” she wrote on X, alongside a deadpan emoji.
But many of her followers on X told Musgraves not to worry about the wardrobe malfunction.

“You were awesome. Clip and all. Great band too,” one follower commented underneath.
“Girl I thought it was purposeful just roll with it!!!!” another added.

She fell victim to a classic ‘expectations vs reality’ travel trope while on holiday in Iceland.
Documenting the chaos on TikTok, Musgraves presented the classic Getty-image version of the lagoon, writing, “What you’re hoping for”, before contrasting it with “what you get”.
In the country singer’s case, the reality was absolutely miserable weather.
“Are we having fun?” she captioned the video.
Musgraves hails from Texas and has seven Grammy awards under her belt.
She previously spoke about her love of music and told Time: “For me, there is no greater high than when I leave a writing room with a new song I really love.”
She added about the music industry: “You have to fight that until you can get to a place where you can have total creative freedom, and I’m getting there.”
