I earn millions a year from business but I’m still working class and would never buy a Ferrari – here’s why

A MAN who earns millions a year from his business claims he is still working class and would never buy a Ferrari.

Jamie Waller, 44, managed to change his life around after growing up with little cash in a struggling family.

The entreprenuer said he would never buy a Ferrari despite earning millionsRex

Brought up in a two-bed flat above a shop in Bethnal Green, east London, Jamie said he wanted to be rich from a young age.

The entrepreneur revealed his passion for becoming a success came from not wanting to have the life his parents had.

Making his dream a reality, Jamie now runs an investment fund business which makes £3million every year.

Despite raking in the big bucks, he said he still feels like he falls in the working class category.

And the humble business owner told how he would never splash the cash on a Ferrari as he shops around for a new motor.

Explaining why, Jamie revealed that the “forthcoming recession” would leave a lot of households hard-up and he didn’t want to be flaunting his wealth.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Jamie said: “Because I believe there is a forthcoming recession, my decision on what car I am going to buy is based upon not wanting to be seen to be putting my fingers up towards people who may be unfairly suffering.

“You wouldn’t catch me driving a bright red Ferrari.”

It comes after a vintage Ferrari went on sale for an eye-watering price just last month.

The classic 500 Mondial came off the back of Alberto Ascari’s world championship victories in 1952 and 1953.

And the exquisite four-cylinder Italian racer was expected to fetch between £950,000 and £1.25m ($1.2m and $1.6m) at auction.
