CHANCES are you’ve seen people wearing a neck fan at least once this summer.
The gadget is the latest big thing for staying cool.

But are they all they’re cracked up to be on social media?
While many have praised them as a game-changer not everyone is convinced.
One TikToker has revealed that the device is “good but not great” in her experience.
We don’t know the exact brand and model user @drunkdistory has used, so some may be better than others.
But she told her 49,000 followers that she actually prefers to stick with a standard handheld fan.
“I have this on the highest setting, it’s good but not great,” she explained.
“It’s just kind of hitting right here [neck] but my face is soaking wet.
“This handheld fan that’s directly on my face feels so much better, of course though, you have to hold it.”
However, she said that the neck fan feels “phenomenal” when using it inside.
“So should you spend your money on it? It depends,” she continued.
“Some people really swear by these things other people like me are kind of, meh, I’m still using it though, so that’s got to be some sort of endorsement.
“I feel like I’m mainly using it to try and make my hair not frizz up.
“I guess if it’s cheap enough, it’s in your budget, give it a try.”
