I bought a car from Facebook marketplace for £800 and DOUBLED my money in 24 hours – it was the easiest car flip ever

A MAN claims he bought a second-hand car on Facebook Marketplace and made more than £800 profit in less than 24 hours.

The expert car flipper took to social media to reveal the decent sum he made after selling a second-hand Citroen C1.

TikTok user @fliping247 described how he spotted the small C1 supermini advertised for £950, but after some savvy negotiating managed to pick it up for £850.

The 2007 motor had covered around 83k miles, and the poster goes on to boast that he put the car back up for sale the very same day for £1,750.

Amazingly, an interested buyer was in contact within 24 hours, and the sale was agreed at the advertised price.

On his video @fliping247 says that he spent just £10 on a car wash and £15 for insurance cover, which brought his total spend to £875.

However, this isn’t the first time the TikToker has made a tidy profit from buying and selling cars, as he’s made a similar amount with an almost identical Citroen model.

Viewers were left impressed by the car expert’s money-making skills and offered their opinions in the comments.

One said: “This is sick bro, how do I start?”

Another replied: “This should be our side hustle.”

While a further viewer wasn’t so dazzled by the TikTok car flip, saying: “You could clearly see the car is being overvalued – ur being ripped off.”
