A THRIFTY Facebook Marketplace seller has told how he bought a car for £550 – and sold it ten hours later for three times the price.
Tiktoker Killingit007 has challenged himself to turn £500 into £100,000 by flipping second hand cars online.

And on the seventh car of his project, he managed to rake in a profit of £1127 for just 10 hours work.
He bought a 2005 Honda Jazz on the social media website before making a video documenting his work.
In the clip he explained: “I bought this car on Facebook to flip. It was only up for £550.
“The car was in overall good condition. 82,000 mileage on the clock, two keys and service history.
“I didn’t bother messing and with negotiations. £550 was already a bargain.
“I took the car home and polished and clay barred the bodywork so it regained its glow.
“I polished out the headlights so they looked like new.
“I listed the car on Facebook for £1850.
“The car had a lot of interest straight away.
“I sold the car within 24 hours for the full asking price. For full asking price.”
His total expenses added up to £723 for the car, road tax, fuel, clay bars and polish.
He also paid himself £100 for the day’s work.
It meant he made £1127 towards his final goal.
