The car expert bought a red Corsa Sxi for £400 with a failed MOT and some bulbs, shock absorber and wiper blades.

And, after spending £100 on repairs and giving it a good clean, he managed to sell it for £1,200, meaning he made a £700 profit in just a few days.

The user @s88anw is a professional car flipper and has sold dozens of cars, including a Volkswagen Golf and an Audi A3.

The video has had thousands of views on TikTok and 31 comments.

But, viewers are not too convinced.

One said: “Sorry to ask probs the most common questions, but how do you do this without trade insurance etc. and buying and selling without being a trader?”

The poster answered: “I’m 19, so I can’t get Trade insurance. I use Veygo. I usually insure the cars I buy for three days for roughly £40. This gives me enough time to prepare for the sale.”

A second person commented: “That’s not 700 profit then, both mot bookings, the 100 for any issues, insurance for a few days, 500 profit maximum.”

The poster replied: “One MOT booking at trade price £35 free retest, few bulbs £5, wipers £10, shock absorber £35 insurance £12 day.”

This comes after a man claims that he made more than £1,500 flipping a car on Facebook – which only took him a few days.

Plus, a motors expert has revealed that he made over £1,000 on the easiest car flip ever.
