Hugely popular Ford set for facelift in 2024 after being spotted on test run

ONE of Britain’s most popular cars is getting a facelift – with an updated model coming to showrooms next year.

The ever-popular Ford Kuga will boast a new look across the European market in 2024, with a handful of subtle design changes.

According to Autoexpress, the current third-generation Kuga – released back in 2019 – remains one of Britain’s best-selling cars.

However, fans of the motor have wondered when or if Ford would update the model.

In the US, for example, the Kuga – which is badged as the Ford ‘Escape’ – was given a new design in 2022.

Now, photographers have more-or-less proven that the next Kuga will look almost identical to the Escape.

Both cars snapped in the spy photos sport a narrower grille than the current Kuga – similar in fashion to that seen on the facelifted Focus.

There’s also LED headlights with a central light bar, a redesigned bumper and a new design for the rear light signature.

At the moment, it seems fans will have to be patient – with a full reveal expected in 2024.

This comes after another popular motor reaches the end of its lifecycle, as the Renault Zoe is taken off sale in the UK after 11 years.

The French car giant is set to bring the curtain down on the loveable supermini on March 30 next year.

Renault spokesperson told Autocar that production of the Zoe was coming to an end and would be replaced with the Renault 5 electric hatchback.

Elsewhere, Wheeler Dealers host Mike Brewer has revealed how using his ‘ceiling price’ tip can save you thousands when buying a car at an auction.
