A HUGE online fashion brand will open 30 new stores this year.

The branches, which will appear across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), are part of discount fashion giant Shein.

Shein is popular for selling affordable clothes online, but it’s now looking to open 30 new branches in an effort to continue its “physical retail strategy”.

The move follows a number of temporary stores which appeared across the UK earlier this year, including locations in Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff.

Each of the stores were open for roughly two days.

It’s not yet clear where the new branches will be and what dates they’re opening on, but we’ve asked to confirm.

The fashion giant is, however, currently in the middle of launching its new headquarters in Dublin for its EMEA region, and says it’s created 30 new jobs.

Shein’s global head of government relations Leonard Lin said: “Ireland’s pro-business environment and great access to talent make it an excellent hub for companies, including Shein, to manage and grow our business in the region.

“Our Dublin office opening marks an important milestone in Shein’s growth in EMEA – which is one of our most important markets.

“We look forward to contributing to the growth of the local economies and to supporting local communities.”

The new office will also host the company’s strategic IT hub for EMEA and will be the base of operations in the region.

In terms of pop-up success, the chain says one shop which opened last year in the Jervis Shopping Centre, Dublin, attracted 4,000 visitors per day.

Elsewhere, Poundland opened four new stores in England last month after opening four new shops in March.

The bargain brand is also opening three new stores in Belfast Castlecourt, Biggleswade and Stafford this month.

It comes after the chain said it would open 50 new stores by the end of September this year.

And Aldi will be opening nine new stores across the UK by the end of the year.

The move will see more than 6,000 new jobs created, and stores will open in places including Newcastle and Norwich.

The new supermarkets will open between now and autumn, an Aldi spokeswoman confirmed.

The new stores are as follows:
