In their latest clip, they show how you can protect your car doors when your trying to get out in a tight space.

The footage shows the influencer getting out of a white hatchback but as they open the door it hits a low bollard which may not have been spotted from the door mirror.

It then cuts to a close up of the door, revealing it to be chipped, spoiling the neatness of the car and which could lead to rust forming if it is not treated.

To avoid this situation though @FeuuvertTN shows that you can buy plastic tabs which fit over the corner of each door, preventing it from being damaged.

There is a wide variety available on the market which range in price but the cheapest appear to a snap on door guard which is currently reduced on Amazon from £3.34 to £1.90.

Halfords also stock a selection with the cheapest selling for £3.99.

The protector shown in the video simply slides onto the door and attaches to some adhesive tape, so it does need any screws or bolts to be added.

At the end of the footage, the YouTuber shows how the protectors can absorb the impact of a car door hitting an object and the door is free of scratches and scuffs.

Car door protectors, which are also known as edge guards, are a common way for drivers to stop their motors picking up little dents and chips whilst going about their daily lives.
