Horse racing tips: Templegate’s NAP can build the bank for Grand National weekend

TEMPLEGATE takes on Monday’s racing hungry for winners.

CIARA PEARL (5.00 Lingfield, nap)

Jim Crowley takes over on this four-year-old who looks on a very lenient mark of 66 for this handicap debut. That’s despite three cracking runs at novice level including a neck second here last time out. She will improve for this step up in distance and has a lot more to come on just her fourth run.

ROBBER’S BRIDGE (4.38 Wincanton, nb)

He was an easy winner at this tricky track last month. That came over two miles but he looked full of running crossing the line so this longer trip won’t be a problem.

AEROSPACE (2.50 Newcastle, treble)

Came back from two years off to score pulling a bus at Wolverhampton last time. He hasn’t been clobbered for this handicap debut and is capable of better.

TAMARIS (6.30 Wolverhampton, Lucky 15)

Didn’t have to hit top gear when winning here just six days ago. He is back under a 4lb penalty over the same trip and looks hard to stop.
