Horse racing tips: Templegate’s 7-1 NAP looks hard to beat with form having been boosted massively

TEMPLEGATE tackles Tuesday’s racing confident of finding some winners.

You can back a horse at the best price by clicking their odds below.

STREAK LIGHTNING (7.00 Southwell, nap)

Ruth Carr’s seven-year-old ran a cracker when beaten less than a length at Newcastle last time. Moving up a furlong looks a wise move and the handicapper has been generous in leaving his mark alone. He looks hard to beat.

ATHERSTONE WARRIOR (2.15 Thirsk, nb)

Was best of the front-runners when fourth in the Brocklesby at Doncaster. He enjoyed the testing ground on Town Moor and should improve for that first outing.

CATTON LADY (4.45 Thirsk, treble)

Showed lots of promise last season with a couple of good runs at Pontefract. She likes it soft and has more to come under Britain’s best female rider Jo Mason (sorry Hollie!).

GRESSINGTON (7.30 Southwell, Lucky 15)

Won on debut here in September before going close at Redcar. He has plenty of pace for this trip and goes well when fresh.
