Horse racing tips: Templegate NAP has stacks of improvement to come and looks a right bet at 8-1

TEMPLEGATE tackles Saturday’s racing confident of building the bank for Cheltenham Festival.

Read on for our man’s tips and back a horse by clicking their odds below.

MONVIEL (2.25 Sandown, nap)

He has winning form over this course and distance in the mud and has progressed well this season. There was a bit of give in the ground when he scored at Ascot on comeback and he more than acquitted himself when fifth on firm in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury. He is on a fair weight and looks capable of improving again.

SILKY WILKIE (1.30 Wolverhampton, nb)

He has been in flying form and had an easy three lengths in hand when scoring over this trip at Kempton 24 days ago. He’s up 6lb for that but powered home from the front and looks capable of improving a bit more.

CUTHBERT DIBBLE (1.50 Sandown, treble)

He loved the step up to this sort of trip and the soft ground when making light work of his rivals at Leicester. He tanked along there and, despite scoring by 19 lengths, the handicapper hasn’t gone crazy with his mark. His stamina is an asset and there’s more to come.
