Michael Venom Page was declared the winner via TKO
But Page closed the show in brutal style after just 26 SECONDS following a leg kick which caused gruesome damage.
Slow-motion replays revealed the moment Yamauchi’s kneecap exploded on impact on the heavy leg kick.
He was unable to carry on, declaring Page the winner via technical knockout.
And the Londoner called out unbeaten Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov after his savage stoppage of Yamauchi.
Page, 35, said: “First and foremost I want to wish Goiti a speedy recovery.
“It’s hard to want to celebrate when he’s there,” said Page in the post-fight interview.
“I’m a fan of him and his work. It was a pleasure to share the cage with him.
“I work hard to be here. I’m dynamic, it looks like it comes easy but I bust every day in the gym to put a show on for everybody.
“You want to see me fight Amosov? Let’s make it happen.”
Page was beaten last May by Logan Storley in a controversial points loss and then made his bare-knuckle boxing debut.
Storley, 30, went on to lose against champion Amosov, 29, who MVP now wants to face himself for the title.
