THIS is the horror moment a speeding Audi smashes into five cars – killing a man.

The speeding driver, 25, ploughed into the vehicles, one of which was stationary, on Soho Road, Birmingham, around 8.20pm on Sunday.

Terrifying footage shows the white motor race down the busy road before losing control at an insane speed.

A passenger sat in a stationary car at the time sadly suffered serious injuries and was declared dead at the scene, say cops.

The man, in his 30s, has not been formally identified yet.

Two other people were rushed to hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.

Their current conditions are not known.

West Midlands Police arrested the Audi driver on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was also taken to hospital where he will be questioned after he has received medical care, the force added.

A shocking video shared online shows the Audi crash into the back of one car – forcing another to spin out of control and hit a third travelling in the opposite direction.

Two cars parked up on the side of the road were also hit in the tragedy.

Traffic was blocked in both directions as debris covered the street.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent three ambulances, three paramedic officers, a Merit trauma doctor and critical care paramedic, and a critical care car from the Air Ambulance Service.

Paramedics said the victim who passed had received trauma care, but nothing could be done to save him.

A spokesperson said: “He had sustained life-threatening injuries and received advanced life support and advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene.

“Unfortunately, nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”

Police were today appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
