‘Hero in the stands’ – Arsenal fan trolls Tottenham by sneaking into Tottenham home end while wearing Gunners shirt

AN Arsenal fan has trolled Tottenham by wearing a Gunners shirt in the home end during the North London derby.

Mikel Arteta’s men moved eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a 2-0 win over their bitter rivals and even those trying to stay incognito had to celebrate.

A video has gone viral of a cheeky supporter watching the game surrounded by the Spurs faithful.

In the clip, the young man turns around to the camera and unzips his coat to unveil the Arsenal away shirt.

He then grabs the badge with passion to reveal who he is truly supporting despite sitting amongst the opposition’s fans.

Fans could not believe that he managed to sneak into the home end of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium wearing that on without letting his true identity slip.

Gooners found it hilarious as they managed to get another laugh over their neighbours.

One wrote on Twitter: “Hero in the stands.”

Another said: “Give this man a knighthood.”

A third reacted: “I love these agents we have planted.”

Many supporters compared it to something similar that happened earlier in the season versus Chelsea.

In the Gunners’ 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge in November, a fan sitting in the home end held up a phone with the Arsenal badge on his screen.

The league leaders face Manchester United next and they will be hoping no Red Devils try the same trick at the Emirates Stadium.
