Amid confusion about the relationship status of Dean McDermott and his wife of almost 18 years, Tori Spelling it appears the end is near.
Speaking to PEOPLE, a source claimed that despite the pair still living together, the Stolen Miracle star – who shared a since-deleted Instagram post about their split – was ready to end the relationship for good.
“[McDermott] 100 per cent wants to get out of the marriage. He took down the [Instagram] post because Tori didn’t want him to keep it up. But he’s packing his bags and is 100 per cent serious about it,” the source said.
“He can’t take it anymore. He told her he’s done.”

The Canadian actor has reportedly continued to live with the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, however the source shared that financial reasons were preventing McDermott from moving out, the star struggling to find an apartment he can “afford.”
The news comes days after McDermott, 56, posted a lengthy statement on his Instagram page on Saturday June 17, but took it down a few hours later.
The since-deleted statement read: “It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own.”
The caption was accompanied by a photo of himself and Spelling, as well as another of their children.

“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,” the Canadian actor and comedian wrote.
“We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.”
Despite the future of the couple looking grim, other sources have spoken out since the statement’s deletion claiming the couple would not be splitting.
Earlier, another source confirmed to US Magazine the pair “have been better than ever.”

“They’ve had their ups and downs like any couple, but [they] have continued working on their marriage through couple’s counseling,” the source noted.
“They love each other and are not going to split.”
Even friends of the couple were shocked when the post was first made public.
“If [the split] had happened a year ago, it would’ve been expected because things were terrible between them,” a source told People.

“Sure, they still had their disagreements and didn’t always see eye to eye, but the past six months things had felt good between them.”
Nor McDermott or Spelling have spoken out amidst the confusion.
