Haven launches Christmas-themed breaks for the first time – here’s what we know

HAVEN holiday resorts have launched their first ever Christmas-themed breaks, including special festive dinners, entertainment and more.

The breaks will be held at Seashore Holiday Park in Norfolk, with a Santa experience, Christmas shows and specially decorated accommodation available.

Families can enjoy 5-night full package Christmas holiday stays between December 22-27 at the Great Yarmouth resort this year.

They include self-catering caravan stays, with access to the park’s facilities, like The Shore Water Park and the Marina Stage and Bar, where guests can watch live entertainment.

The caravans will be ready for the festive season and will come complete with a Christmas tree, lights and baubles all included in the price.

Guests can also let someone else do the cooking for them this year, with a Christmas Day 3-course meal, complete with all the trimmings, being served at The Coast House bar and restaurant.

Boxing Day and New Year’s Day brunch options are available too.

Visitors simply need to pre-book their Christmas meals before they arrive, for an extra charge.

However, Christmas entertainment will be included in the price of the stay, with elf workshops, decoration making, elf dances and a Santa experience all on-site for kids to enjoy.

Santa will also be making an appearance in the park’s festive production show The Magic of Christmas and at special breakfasts.

He’s not the only person visiting the park this winter, with kids’ favourite pantomime characters hanging out in the park throughout the festive period. A Christmas jumper party will be held on site too.

There’s also the £6.5 million Shore waterpark, which has the UK’s first double enclosed constrictor slides, aqua play, two 11-metre-high tyre flumes and a giant tipping bucket as well as a tots’ pool and slides.

While the park has plenty of Christmas activities on-site for families to enjoy, it’s right on the doorstep of Great Yarmouth, where more festive fun can be found.

This year’s pantomime, Dick Whittington, will be running from December 7 until January 6 at Gorleston’s Pavilion Theatre.

Meanwhile, for adults, Dirty Dick an 18+ panto will also be showing at the Pavilion.

The five-night Christmas stays are available from £799, which includes a two-bed bronze caravan, which sleeps six.

Haven said: “You can now spend the most wonderful time of the year on-site at Seashore, Norfolk, with festive breaks available.

“Gather the family, fill the car with presents, and head for the coast. Get ready to enjoy a special festive break with an exclusive Santa experience, loads of activities for the kids, endless entertainment, and a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.”

Meanwhile, these are the best Christmas markets to visit in the UK this winter.

And tickets for the UK’s biggest Christmas attraction are already on sale.
