Harry Kane ‘sets Bayern Munich transfer deadline with star set to STAY at Tottenham if deal not agreed in days’

However, with Spurs rejecting their club-record offer, time is now running out for Thomas Tuchel and Co to land the 30-year-old.

That is because Kane has set a self-imposed deadline on the deal.

According to The Telegraph, Kane is “adamant” he will not leave Tottenham once the new Premier League season begins.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side kick-start their campaign with a London derby at Brentford on August 13.

Bayern are also said to be keen to get a deal done before their season curtain-raiser in the DFL Super Cup against RB Leipzig on August 12.

This means Bayern have just FIVE days to renegotiate with Spurs and strike a deal for Kane.

And the report adds that a new offer is likely to be submitted, though the German’s are said to be £25m short of Kane’s valuation.

Spurs face losing Kane for nothing in 12 months, with their all-time record goalscorer showing no indication he will sign a £400,000-a-week new deal.

Bayern transfer chiefs have flown to England twice in an effort to land the England captain.

They set their own so-called deadline over a deal last Friday, but chairman Daniel Levy did not budge and instead flew to Miami, FL, USA over the weekend.

They are now considering whether to make another attempt or look elsewhere in the market.

Tottenham are closing in on deals to sign defender Micky van de Ven and striker Alejo Veliz.
