Kane landed in Germany yesterday as he edged closer to completing a move to Bayern.

The 30-year-old striker and his wife Kate arrived on Friday evening, with the England captain escorted off for his medical.

Bayern are set to sign Kane for a club record £104million from Spurs after finally agreeing a deal.

And now Sky Sports News are claiming that he has completed his medical and already penned his contract.

Kane and Bayern are both now hopeful that he will be available to make his bow for them this afternoon.

Thomas Tuchel’s side take on cup winners RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena in their first match of the season as the two clubs battle for the German Super Cup.

And that could mean that the star finally gets his hands on a trophy on the very first day of him not being a Tottenham player.

Fans reacted to that fact in hilarious fashion and could not resist sticking the boot in to Spurs, who last lifted silverware back in 2008 when they won the League Cup.

“Less than a day after leaving and he will already have more cups than Tottenham,” said one.

Another wrote: “Trophy on his first day at Bayern will be mad.”

A fellow supporter said: “Harry Kane now has more trophies than Spurs.”

While another commented: “Congratulations Harry Kane. You’re winning trophies finally.”

Kane overtook Wayne Rooney to become the second-highest Premier League goalscorer last season and now has 213.

Many tipped him to overtake Alan Shearer’s tally of 260, but it seems that Spurs’ all-time top scorer has chosen team honours over personal accolades.

There had been fears the deal could be off on Friday morning, with reports Spurs blocked him from boarding a plane.

But after finally getting the green light and overcoming a number of flight issues, the hotshot finally jetted to Germany to complete his big-money move.
