He sits top of the Bundesliga scoring charts, has already hit three hat-tricks and netted from inside his own half.

If Kane can continue his sensational form, he looks set to smash a record set by Robert Lewandowski.

In the 2020/21 season, the now Barcelona star scored 48 goals in all competitions, 41 of which game in the league.

The Pole’s goal scoring feat eclipsed the Bundesliga record held by legend Gerd Muller, who found the back of the net 40 times in one season in 1971/72.

Many believed the achievement would never be broken but just three years later Kane is on course to blow it out the water.

After 11 games in 2020/21, Lewandowski had scored 13 times.

And this season Kane has already netted 17 Bundesliga goals in the same amount of games, meaning he is five ahead of where his rival was at during his record-breaking campaign.

His goal scoring has meant he has swiftly become a fans’ favourite in Bavaria.

So much so that Bayern Munich are reportedly expecting to sell 100,000 Kane shirts by the end of this season.

They think that by Christmas they would have sold more kits with their No9’s name on the back than any other player in an entire season in the club’s history.

Previous reports claimed that 10,000 Kane jerseys were purchased by supporters on the day he signed for Bayern.

The home kit with the striker’s name and number printed on it costs £100.58 on the club’s website.

Therefore if they sell 100,000 as expected, Bayern will generate £10m from Kane shirt sales.
