For the first time, fans can pick up a cheese and honey mustard toastie and veg bhaji flatbread.

There’s a spicy bhaji baguette available in both veggie and chicken options too.

But one of the new items has really got fans talking – the mozzarella and cheddar bites.

The new additions have stunned fans left disappointed just days after Maccie’s axed its own version.

Taking to Facebook, one person said: “Moz bites oh my god?!”

Meanwhile, a second said: “Stop it right now,” while a third, tagging a friend, simply said: “MOZZY BITES.”

What’s new on the menu?

Greggs fans can get their hands on six new food items from today.

The cheese and honey mustard toastie combines mature cheddar cheese with honey mustard mayo locked in by two slices of white bread.

It comes in at 488 calories and prices start from £3. You can also get it in a meal deal from £4.80.

Meanwhile, fans can pick up a veg bhaji flatbread for £3.40 or £4.80 as part of a meal deal – the bhaji by itself has 361 calories.

The snack combines bhajis, red onion, mango chutney and tandoori mayo, all packed into a flatbread.

Next, there’s a spicy chicken or veg bhaji baguette with prices starting from £3.70 or £4.80 for a meal deal.

Both come with bhajis, cheddar cheese with chilli and red onion, mango chutney and tandoori mayo.

The baguette by itself contain 545 calories.

Foodies can nab a spicy veg pizza, which contains 564 calories, from £2.65 too.

It comes on a focaccia base, topped with cheese and tomato and finished off with sliced peppers, red onion and jalapenos.

The mozzarella bites come in at £1.90, combining mozzarella and cheddar cheese and covered in breadcrumbs.

There’s also a spicy veg pizza available to customers for the first time too – but you can only pick it up via Just Eat and click and collect.

You can find your nearest Greggs store by using the branch locator tool on its website.

It comes after Greggs brought back its famous pumpkin spice latte in August, while adding an Iced version for the first time.

The warm version costs £2.40 while the Iced is priced at £2.85.

The chain also added two new drinks – a hazelnut mocha and hazelnut hot chocolate – both priced at £2.40.

It’s worth bearing in mind, not all of the new autumn menu items are available at stores nationwide.

The spicy veg pizza is only available via click and collect service or food delivery platform Just Eat.
