THE biggest race of the year takes place tomorrow afternoon as the Grand National returns to Aintree.
Last year saw Corach Rambler become the first British winner of the iconic race since 2017.

The 10-year-old Irish thoroughbred gave Lucinda Russell her second triumph in the Grand National.
And this year, Corach Rambler is currently the favourite to claim back-to-back wins in Aintree‘s featured race.
But how much is up for grabs at this year’s Grand National?
Grand National 2024 prize money
Since 2014, the prize pot for the legendary race has been a whopping £1million.
In 2021, the winnings were reduced to £750k due to the Covid pandemic but the pot has since increased back to £1million.
