GOOGLE Maps users had a nasty surprise when they spotted what looks like a dead man on Street View.
But the shocking images aren’t quite what everyone initially feared.

It turns out the scene is nothing more than a perfectly timed prank.
Australian joker Heath Slater posted the hoax on social media along with a video of the exact moment.
It shows him quickly laying on the floor just before the Google Maps car passes by with its all-seeing cameras capturing the moment.
Though they’d have to wait a fair while for Google to upload the images.
“I never thought I would make it on Google Maps but I actually did it,” he said.
Google Maps users noticed it in Street View mode around the Australian village of Iluka.
It’s not the first time people have pulled off funny pranks in an effort to be spotted by Google’s cameras.
One naughty dog walker previously saw an opportunity to cheekily flash his willy.
It remained uncensored for all to see for a while before Google experts spotted it and added a blur.
And another put himself on the site completely starkers from a hotel room in China too.
He also remained on the service for some time before being removed.
