Gisele Bündchen Makes First Public Appearance Since Tom Brady Split

Gisele Bündchen made her first public appearance since announcing her split from Tom Brady in her native Brazil on Monday evening. The 42-year-old former supermodel looked like a golden goddess in a shimmering gown at Vivara’s 60th anniversary dinner. Bündchen appeared to be in good spirits as she documented her night out on her Instagram Stories.

Bündchen’s outing comes nearly two months after she and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback revealed they were divorcing following 13 years of marriage. In a statement shared on his Instagram Story, Brady wrote, “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage.” He continued, “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

Bündchen shared similar statements on her Instagram Story, writing, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always. I kindly ask that our privacy be respected during this sensitive time.”

The former couple share two children, son Benjamin, 13, and daughter, Vivian, 10, in addition to Brady’s older son, Jack, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Despite their separation, Brady and Bündchen remain committed to coparenting their kids. “I think there’s a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home,” Brady shared during an Oct. 31 episode of the “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” podcast. “Obviously, the good news is it’s a very amicable situation and I’m really focused on two things: taking care of my family – and certainly my children – and secondly, doing the best job I can to win football games.”
