The supermarket giant has introduced a new range of hot cross buns with three exciting flavours.

Taking to the Facebook group Food Finds UK Official, one shopper posted pictures of these new treats.

They wrote in the caption: “New in Morrisons. All £1.25 each.”

The first flavour is called Double Chocolate and Orange which comes in a blue branding.

These hot cross buns are packed with chunks of Belgian chocolate and tangy orange zest – a fun combination that could never go wrong.

The second flavour, called Lemon Drizzle, is made with Sicilian lemons and orange peels, making it more refreshing.

And then comes the wicked new flavour called the Mature Cheddar and Red Leicester in attractive burnt orange packaging.

As the name suggests, these hot cross buns are rich and tangy – and are packed with a robust cheesy flavour.

Fellow shoppers have gone wild after learning about the new range of Easter treats.

One wrote in the comments: “I’d try all these flavours!”

Another said: “All of these look yummy!”

A third shopper expressed: “OMG! I need to try these asap.”

Morrisons is not the only supermarket that has introduced new treats just ahead of the Easter holiday.

Major supermarket Poundland has also just introduced a new range of instant pudding with three new flavours – Apple Pie, Cherry Bakewell and Banoffee Pie.

And B&M have stocked up a new bag of crisps with a strong flavour.

Meanwhile, Morrison shoppers have started stocking up on Cadbury and Nestle Easter eggs after the supermarket slashed the prices.

It has reduced the price of its medium 96g – 129g Easter eggs by 50% from £1.50 to 75p for customers with a More card.
