But prior to that he had already secured a huge bonus for winning the Premier League title – his fifth in six seasons.

According to The Mail, that financial boost is thought to be in the region of £750,000.

But Guardiola, who is already very popular among club staff, opted to gift the sum to other members of the team at the Etihad.

They include receptionists and security staff.

Administrative staff who work at the training ground are given small bonuses for each trophy triumph – meaning this season they are set to receive three after the team tasted glory in the Premier League, FA Cup and Europe.

Man City have become just the second English side in history to win the Treble after neighbours Manchester United achieved the feat in 1999.

The ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich head coach is reportedly set to leave the club when his contract expires in 2025.

Following the win over Inter, Guardiola said: “Right now, I don’t have any energy to think about next season.
