General Hospital actress Haley Pullos faces felony DUI charges after car crash

General Hospital actress Haley Pullos is facing felony DUI charges after allegedly causing a car accident in April.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the 24-year-old will be charged with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 BAC causing injury as well as one misdemeanour count of hit-and-run resulting in property damage, People reports.

This follows her original DUI charge she received last month for her alleged involvement in a major car crash. A California Highway Patrol Report obtained by People read that Pullos was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the freeway in Pasadena on April 29, being arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and for driving the wrong way, causing injury.

The incident in April also saw Pullos allegedly involved in a a hit-and-run incident before the crash. When firefighters arrived on the scene, Pullos was trapped inside her crashed car, having to be “extracted” from the vehicle with the jaws of life.

Shortly after the incident, Pullos was recast in her role as Molly Lansing-Davis in the soap opera, saying in a statement released in May, “Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I’m doing OK, but I am going to need a little time to recover, I will be back as soon as possible!”

Pullos was a child actress, having appeared as a young Melinda in Ghost Whisperer before taking up her role in General Hospital in 2009.
