Game of Thrones actor Darren Kent has died after battling with osteoporosis, arthritis and an extremely rare skin disorder. He was 36.
His death was confirmed by his talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates, in a statement posted to Facebook on Tuesday.
“It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday,” wrote the agency. “His parents and best friend [were] by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family in this difficult time.”

They continued: “Darren was not only a talented actor, director and writer, he was truly one of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
“It has been a privilege and pleasure to have been a part of his journey. RIP my friend.”
The cause of his death has yet to be disclosed.

Kent was born and raised in Essex and graduated from the the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London in 2007.
He landed His first major acting role in the 2008, starring in horror film Mirrors and continued on to have quite a fruitful career.
The star made appearances in hit show Game of Thrones, playing a goatherd in Slavers Bay, and most recently played a reanimated corpse in the 2023 film Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

Other film credits include Snow White and the Huntsman, Marshal’s Law, Bloody Cuts, The Frankenstein Chronicles, Blood Drive and Les Misérables. On television, Kent acted in Community and the BBC’s EastEnders.
Kent was also an award-winning actor, writer and director, notably taking home award for best actor at the Van D’or Awards in 2012 for his role as Danny in Sunny Boy. and a January Award for his 2021 short You Know Me.
According to his IMDb page, the actor had multiple upcoming titles in development, including several shorts.
