PREZZO is popular for its family-favourite Italian dishes – but your local chain could be about to disappear forever.
The chain said it will shut 46 restaurants which have been hit hard by soaring costs and changes to customer habits.

Around 810 workers will be affected by the closures.
Prezzo said the shake-up will impact a raft of sites where footfall is still below pre-pandemic levels.
It plans to leave restaurants in busier shopping destinations such as retail parks or tourist hot-spots.
We’ve put together a handy list of restaurants which will be shutting permanently.
Which Prezzo restaurants are closing down?
Below is a full list of all the Prezzo restaurants due to close.
The hospitality chain has not yet confirmed when these restaurants will close.
The Sun has approached Prezzo to find out, and we will update this article as soon as we hear back.

What other Prezzo restaurants have closed?
Prezzo fell into administration in late 2020 after the heavy impact of the pandemic.
It was then snapped up by current private equity owners Cain International.
The group shut 22 restaurants and cut 216 jobs in 2021, as a result.

How to save on eating out
If you sign up to a Tastecard, you can get 60 days for £1 and try it out to see how much you save.
If you find you don’t want to keep it, cancel at least a few days before the 60 days is up to avoid it automatically being renewed for £39.99 a year.
When you buy insurance or another qualifying deal at Compare the Market, you can sign up for Meerkat Meals on its app.
This offers 50 per cent off pizzas from Domino’s, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut Deliver when you spend £30.
You can also get money off at pubs and restaurants including Ember Inns, Prezzo and Toby Carvery.
Membership schemes like Kids Pass or Little Bird both offer savings on meals as well as days out.
Little Bird is offering £1 membership for a month, which then renews into £3.49 per month.
You can cancel any time.
Kids Pass also offers a first month for £1, then renews at £4.99 a month until you cancel.
Note that with that deal, you’ll end up paying £59.88 a year if you don’t cancel, and there is cheaper annual membership for £39.99.
