2023 has undoubtedly been the year of celeb split-aggedon, where we said goodbye to some of pop culture’s favourite couples and feared for the safety of others.
Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness’ marriage has come to an end; we’ll no longer be seeing videos of Sophie Turner dancing along at a Jonas Brothers concert; and Taylor Swift won’t be writing any more ballads about former British beau Joe Alwyn.
Turns out love’s a tricky game, even in Tinsel Town.
Women have also been front and centre of 2023’s conversation.
Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie became a box office hit, while Taylor Swift and Beyonce played their part in proving the power and influence of women when their respective tours became two of the most successful the world has ever seen.

Sadly, we’ve also said goodbye to some beloved stars.

This year really has been a wild ride in the world of the rich and famous.

As the year comes to a close, we’re all praying that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds survive split-aggedon and enter 2024 as a couple (and every year after that).
