However, TMZ has now announced that they are splitting up.

They published a statement from model CJ, better known to WWE fans as Lana, that confirmed the break-up.

It read: “Miro and I have made the difficult decision to separate after many wonderful years together,  and have decided to move on as friends, and hopefully onscreen characters somewhere down the road.”

TMZ claim that they broke up last winter but have only now decided to go public, although neither has yet opted to file for divorce.

The split is believed to be amicable with no fighting or cheating involved.

But it could make things slightly awkward going forward in Tony Khan’s AEW promotion as the pair are also married on-screen.

The 38-year-old Bulgarian Miro, real name Miroslav Barnyashev, previously performed as Rusev in WWE.

He met CJ, who recently underwent surgery for a horrific finger injury, was also working in the company’s NXT brand at the time.

They soon started dating and began appearing together on-screen, leading to many memorable moments as they worked their way up the ladder.

Miro was a three-time WWE United States champion but opted to leave the then-ran Vince McMahon company back in 2020.

He soon debuted in AEW and won the TNT Title but then had lengthy spells off TV.

Miro returned last year and was soon joined by CJ, who made her bow in AEW in September.

However, she last appeared on TV in November when she turned on her client Andrade to help her husband claim the victory.
