One driver has shared his discovery on TikTok, fascinated by the clever function.

In the video, the surprised motorist can be heard saying: “What in the h*ll, that is awesome!

“I discover something new every day.”

And the feature he pointed out to can be crucial in preventing accidents and improving vision.

The sun visors in a car are designed to shade the drivers eyes from the glare of the sun.

But the sun may be shining bright from any angle and that is when an adjustable feature comes in handy.

After all, driving on a sunny day could land you with a massive fine and points on your licence, it’s been revealed.

More than a third of UK drivers have admitted to bright sunshine impacting their vision on the road and putting the safety of themselves and others at risk.

Bright sunlight can cause a strong glare across a car’s windshield which can distort a driver’s view of the road – your windows must be clean in the summer months to avoid extra glare.

Rule 237 of the Highway Code says if you are dazzled by bright sunlight, slow down and if necessary, stop.

Motorists finding it difficult to drive due to the glare of the sun are putting themselves at risk of a £1,000 fine and 3 penalty points on their licence, with the offence being a failure to have full view of the road and traffic ahead.

Another special Ford automobiles feature has been revealed to de-ice windscreens fast.

Motorist Joe, who goes by @mrjturner on TikTok, said Ford drivers “feel like they are winning” with the special feature which makes de-icing windscreens a dream.

In other Ford news, the American automaker has issued an urgent warning to more than 95,000 vehicle owners over a fault that has been linked to dozens of deaths.
