The luggage bungee, by Guanjunx, attaches to your suitcase handles.

The elastic cord lets you put anything on top of your luggage, be it your second bag, or scarf.

It then keeps everything attached so your hands are free to grab or a coffee or make a last minute dash for your flight.

And when you don’t it, it takes up very little space in your hand luggage.

Hundreds of people have given it amazing reviews on Amazon.

One woman said it was “perfect,” adding “I only wish I had had one of these sooner! It was a perfect frustration eliminator while moving luggage around. My bag didn’t fall off or slide around once.”

Another traveller said: “This ranks as the best travel accessory I have ever purchased/used.”

A third called it “”genius,” and said they had already bought them as presents for other family members.

Even flight attendants have raved about it.

One woman said: “I’m also a flight attendant. My winter coat is SO big and heavy.

“I don’t bring it most of the time because I don’t want to deal with it. I typically end up freezing when I don’t take it, or annoyed by having to drag it around when I do.

“I found with this simple strap, I can roll my coat up and way the strap around it and slip it over the handle of my suitcase.”

Another agreed: ” Am a flight attendant and was struggling to keep my purse on top of my other 2 bags.

“This guy secures it and has made cruising through the airport a non-issue.”

While it costs £22 on Amazon, there are even cheaper versions for around £8.

Here’s another clever travel item that will get you more room in your hand luggage.
