A FLIGHT attendant has revealed why you should always buy a Toblerone before you board.
The famous chocolate bar, invented in 1908, is one of the most popular things people buy at duty free.

And you should grab one before you board, not just when you land.
Flight attendant Miguel Muñoz said it can be used to get some extra freebies on a flight.
He told the Express that he loves passengers who bring “Toblerone or Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons” on the plane and share it with them.
He explained: “I am automatically nicer to the person who had that nice gesture.
“The cabin chief would always offer them free coffee and tea and if there are better seats available, we will move them!”
Shawn Kathleen, a retired flight attendant who spent seven years on the job, agreed.
She told Sfgate: “Bring them chocolate. Bring them candy. It’s a few bucks just to say thanks. I guarantee you’ll get free drinks with that. One hundred per cent.”
Flight attendant Nichole Dunst said it was a great way when they cannot accept tips.
She said: “We do love getting tipped in snacks, and that happens pretty frequently.
“If you’re headed to duty-free before your flight, picking up a bag of candy for your flight crew is a great way to make friends with us.”
One person shared on Reddit that they were noticed by crew after he gave some Starbucks gift cards to them.
He wrote: “I was on the turnaround flight the next day and the flight attendants spotted me.
“They threw snacks and drinks at me like there was no tomorrow.
“I tapped out after the cheese platter and chocolate cake and ended up sleeping incredibly well (I almost never drink and usually don’t even eat sweets, so the bliss was quite something).”
One thing you should never ask for on a flight? Coffee
A flight attendant told
She told Thrillist: “We all hate serving coffee – I’m not sure why this is such a thing for flight attendants, but it is.
“For all the things that set flight attendants off, it’s passengers changing their minds about how they take their coffee.
“First they say they want it black, so we hand it to them black. Then they say, no, they want cream and sugar.
“It’s all bad coffee anyway, what does it matter how you take it?”
