The move, subject to Premier League confirmation, will see Ineos take over the football operations of the club.
And this means Brailsford, who has guided Ineos’ cycling programme to a mountain of success will be making the key calls going forward.
The 59-year-old was also spotted at Old Trafford for Man Utd’s 3-2 comeback win over Aston Villa.
And he was once again seen in attendance at The City Ground for the Red Devils trip to Nottingham Forest.
