Team-mate Sergio Perez will also be looking to pick up another big victory, but will have it tough at the notoriously difficult to navigate street track.
Mercedes team-mates Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will also be looking for their first wins of the season, but that seems unlikely.
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix cancellation last week has left teams scampering to prepare properly for Monaco.
But racing looks set to return – and what better weekend to do so than in Monaco?
