At this time of year, festive coffees are a household favourite – with many chains offering their takes on Christmas-themed flavours.
And of course, a coffee on the go or from a drive-thru cafe is often the answer for a caffeine pick-me-up.
However, this can also mean coffee spillages in your motor are more frequent – and these can cause stubborn stains to your car’s interior.
Thankfully, our friends over at Vanarama have revealed a trick to removing coffee stains from upholstery using a microfibre cloth.
All you need to do is pour a cup of cold water over the stain before blotting it with a microfibre cloth.
After that, mix a solution of one-third white vinegar and two-thirds warm water and use a clean cloth to apply the mixture to the stain.
Once you have done this, rinse again with cold water and there should be no traces of coffee residue left.
This comes after drivers were wowed by a 10-second method to defog a windscreen on a cold winter’s day.
The hack shows motorists the simple fix – and that there’s no need to panic when you’re behind the wheel and your glass gets misty.
Also a motors expert has warned drivers their windscreen wipers might need to be replaced.
Experts shared the signs indicating you need a new pair of blades.
