MCDONALD’S fans will want to take note of the exact date the chain is axing its festive menu.
The home of the Big Mac launched five new items and brought back some fan favourites last month.
McDonald’s festive menu will be axed within weeks
Among the new items is a Big and Cheesy Burger, plus the Big and Cheesy with bacon.
Customers can also get their hands on some returning iconic dishes, including the Chicken Big Mac and Cheese Melt Dippers.
The full list of additions and what they cost is:
The Big & Cheesy £5.49 – (single) / £7.29 (meal)
The Big & Cheesy with Bacon £6.29 – (single) / £8.09 (meal)
Chicken Big Mac £4.79 – (single) / £6.59 (meal)

McDonald’s Chicken Combo £14.99
Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry – £1.49 (mini) / £1.99 (regular)
Galaxy Caramel McFlurry – £1.49 (mini) / £1.99 (regular)
Galaxy Caramel Pie £1.99
Anyone looking to snap up the new additions will have to be quick though as they are only on menus until January 3.
This is because McDonald’s tends to shake up its offering every six weeks and keep consumers on their toes.
The Big and Cheesy burger is made up of a large 100% beef patty, two slices of cheese, red onions and crispy onions.
It’s then topped off with a cheese sauce and held together with a toasted flour-dusted bun.
Foodies looking to up it a notch can top it off with a slice of bacon for 80p extra.
Back for a third time is the Chicken Big Mac, which has always proved a hit with fans since it first launched in 2022.
The twist on the classic Big Mac comes with a triple-layered bun, two chicken patties, slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and Big Mac sauce.
Meanwhile, foodies can snap up the Cheese Melt Dippers, made with Camembert and served with a rich tomato dip.
Sweet-toothed customers will be keen on the Galaxy Caramel Pie, which combines caramel sauce encased in a crispy chocolate pastry.
And the two new Galaxy McFlurry’s feature one swirled with chocolate sauce and the other with caramel, both topped with Galaxy stars.
Reporter Ellie Smitherman got an exclusive try of the Christmas menu ahead of its launch.
It comes after McDonald’s quietly made a major price hike to its £1.99 Big Mac deal to fan fury.
How to save money at McDonald’s
You might not think it, but you can end up being charged more solely based on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.
Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.
Meanwhile, you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald’s receipt.
The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.
You’ll then receive a five digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home too.
Our research found some can charge up to £1.20 more than others.
You can also join our new Sun Money Facebook group to share stories and tips and engage with the consumer team and other group members.
