Ex-WWE star who was ‘next Hulk Hogan’ and starred at WrestleMania unrecognizable in retirement

FORMER WWE star Sycho Sid is almost unrecognizable from his days as a fearsome force in the squared circle.

The 6-foot-9 wrestler was a fan favorite during the 1990s and memorably faced off against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Real name Sid Eudy, the Arkansas native was a two-time WWE Champion almost three decades ago.

Eudy turned pro in 1989 after joining World Championship Wrestling and appeared under the moniker Sid Vicious.

His immense height also saw him dubbed Lord Humongous, with Eudy’s strength and power quickly making him a big hit with fans.

He joined the then-WWF in 1991, before returning to WCW a year later.

Eudy would again arrive in the WWE in 1996, becoming a world champion and facing off against both Undertaker and Hulk Hogan.

Per Sportskeeda, WWE kingpin Vince McMahon once told Eudy that he would be the next Hogan.

But after failing to agree terms of a contract, Sid signed back with WCW for the new millennium.

Eudy continued to perform on the independent circuit and made a surprise 2012 appearance on RAW for its 1000th show.

His final match came five years later when Eudy retired after a win over Paul Rosenberg for Great North Wrestling.

Now at 62, he cuts a very different figure from his days in the squared circle.

His famous bleached blonde hair is beginning to recede and gray, with a recent Instagram update showing the ex-WWE star enjoying retirement in Arkansas.

He runs a landscaping business with his two sons called Brothers and Sons Landscaping, per RTDB.

Commenting on a recent snap of Sid, one fan wrote: “Still one of the toughest & baddest SOB’s in the world!”

Another said: “One of the best to lace up the boots.”

A third cried: “How in the world don’t you have like 200k people following this page!?”
