Everton, Palace and Southampton eyeing Lucas Moura free transfer but Spurs star wants £150k a week despite injury woes

TOTTENHAM could let striker Lucas Moura go NOW rather than wait until his contract runs out this summer.

A handful of Premier League clubs are interested in the Brazilian.

But they could be put off by Moura hoping for a £150,000-a-week deal from a last lucrative move.

Moura, 30, was stuck in Spurs’ under-21s on Friday and is in the shop window.

The likes of Southampton, Crystal Palace and even Everton are looking at him.

But while Tottenham will open the exit door, Moura will only use it if he gets the right deal.

Spurs do not think Moura is worth that kind of salary.

And although he may yet get game time this season, they are willing to let him go before Tuesday’s deadline.

Moura’s wages are making most admirers wary.

But with so many still looking — and a lack of alternatives around — Moura could get his deal.

Tottenham would also let Djed Spence go out on loan — but the right wing-back has yet to find the ideal home.

Spence joined from Middlesbrough last summer but has not convinced Antonio Conte he is worth a regular start.
