A driver has revealed that an EV owner left them a note on their windshield after parking their car at a charging stationReddit
Reddit user @u/Grand-Theft-Audio was left in shock after reading the horrible note that says: “F***** a****e, move your vehicle, son of a b****.”
They explained: “Went in at the Walmart in town that has an Electrify America station, was at 80 miles range left and figured in 45 minutes I could get back up to 80%.
“Well, the first few times to activate the charger failed, but then it began and was showing complimentary charging.
“Then, when I finished and came back out, I had a note on my windshield calling me an a****e for parking and not charging.
“When I looked, it only charged me from 30% to 48%.
“I believe the people in the Mach-E forced to charge behind the Golf tried taking my charger and left the note.”
The post has had more than 187 comments – and users were quick to comment below.
One said: “Not your fault. It’s mostly EA’s fault.”
Another said: “Seems like the note was left by a not very experienced EV owner/charger.
“Anyone who’s done enough EA charging knows full well how flaky their setups are…and would be more understanding and not automatically assume you are an “a-hole” … to the point of leaving that awful note.”
A third pointed out: “Sorry this happened. Stay well”
This comes after a woman complained after finding a “petty” note on her car – but there’s a debate on who’s in the wrong.
Plus, drivers have been warned that they could be breaking the law if they passed their driving test before 2014.
