Erik ten Hag heads out to dinner alone with Man Utd boss hungry for at least two more transfers after Mason Mount deal

ERIK TEN HAG was spotted heading out for some dinner on his own as the Manchester United boss plots more business in the transfer window.

The Red Devils secured their first signing of the summer on Wednesday as they confirmed Mason Mount’s £60million arrival from Chelsea.

And Ten Hag celebrated the acquisition by enjoying a meal for one at the Italian restaurant La Famiglia in Hale Village, Cheshire.

He was snapped entering the establishment in a blue blazer, smart trousers and white trainers.

It comes as Man Utd continue to be linked with several more signings in the coming weeks.

They have reportedly submitted a £39million bid for Inter Milan keeper Andre Onana.

Man Utd’s No1 David de Gea is out of contract and it remains unclear whether he will pen a new deal to stay at Old Trafford.

And Onana is being readied as Ten Hag’s first-choice in between the sticks ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Meanwhile, United are also understood to be lining up a £40m bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

The Dane, 20, scored nine goals in 32 Serie A games last season.

And he is seen as a cheaper option than Tottenham talisman Harry Kane or Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Fiorentina and Morocco midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is another being linked with a move to United this summer.

Ten Hag’s men are understood to have agreed personal terms with the player, but remain in negotiations with the Italian club over the fee.

Morocco manager Walid Regragui recently revealed Amrabat could leave Fiorentina this summer after he was absent for his country’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying defeat to South Africa.

He said: “I decided to let him go. He’s played a lot of games this year, I wouldn’t want to risk that, especially as he’ll be signing for a new club soon.”

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have also been mooted as possible destinations for Amrabat.

And his agent recently said Fiorentina are open to the idea of letting him go, but only if a suitable offer is received.
