The Miu Miu runway show at Paris Fashion Week on March 7 was a star-studded event. Zaya Wade made her catwalk debut, Jessica Alba and Nicola Peltz Beckham sat front row, and Emma Corrin walked in the show wearing one of the coolest haircuts of the moment: a bixie.

The edgy haircut was made for the high-fashion runway. Celebrity hairstylist Daniel Martin gave Corrin a fresh trim and styled the look while Reiss Alexander refreshed the color. With micro bangs in the front and a short length in the back, the style showed off Corrin’s features, including their brown eyebrows, which contrast nicely with their platinum-blond color. They wore a light tan turtleneck sweater with rhinestone-embellished underwear and black sheer tights, playing into the no-pants trend that’s currently going around the fashion scene.

Corrin’s haircut, formally known as a “bixie,” is a combination between a pixie and a bob haircut – what sets it apart is the unique length. “It’s shorter than a bob, longer than a pixie, and with the hair off the neck and midface,” April Peele, a hairstylist at Salon SCK in New York City, previously told POPSUGAR.

It’s similar to a “mixie haircut,” which is a style Corrin has previously worn – this cut has less of a “tail” in the back, moving it away from the mullet territory. Other celebrities to wear a “bixie” in the last year include Halle Berry, Demi Lovato, Florence Pugh, Alexa Demie, and Ciara.
